Eagle Amulet

This amulet features a mottled, light green jade depicting an abstract and compacted representation of a crested eagle which is a recurring theme in the region’s mythology of this epoch and seen repeatedly as a thematic both in jade and then later in gold work – obviously this animal was of great significance.
