Traditional Diablo Mask 010

This decorative mask’s design corresponds to the traditional diablo mask-type used by the Brunka to represent themselves in their centuries-old Danza de los Diablitos.  The antagonist, the toro (bull), represents the invading Spanish. Created in a lovely cut of tropical cedar, this gorgeously carved mask features the typical Brunka diablo with gracefully rendered horns and fangs. A fine piece for wall art decor.
