Cat Necklace

This particular representation is a very popular cat necklace of the sacred kúm (ocelot in the Wounaan language) created from carved tagua nut as are both the lighter color round and elongated beads; small black beads are  glass trading beads. Intricate markings and coloring are hand painted using fine inks.
