This section, Caribbean Art, is largely a celebration of the Afro-Caribbean energy so prevalent on the East coast of Costa Rica and is in nice juxtaposition to the female energy of the section which celebrates Women Artists. Men certainly have a different frame of reference on the life around them but the captivating scenes, whether in oil, acrylic or pen and ink speak eloquently to their daily lives. It is real, it is rugged, it is dynamic. Costa Rica shines through their imagination.
