Girl with Fruit
Costa Rican artist, André Kirkland Hall, born and raised in the Afro-Caribbean community in the Province of Limón on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. The medium with this piece, a girl with fruit, employs conté and grease pencils and explodes with vivid tropical colour. Hall’s art reflects studies of people of African descent along Costa Rica’s south eastern coastline.
