Ecological Mirror – Iguanas

These elegant ecological mirrors are one of several facets of this accomplished artist’s creative repetoire which mark a break and stylistically differ from Campos’ usual stylization and abstraction as seen in most of his compositions. The rendering of the flora and fauna featured in these painted wall mirrors is definitely not abstracted, but is carefully painted with a surfeit of detail in a naturalistic style. The flora and fauna depicted in these ‘eco-mirrors’ are native to Costa Rica and this particular piece is a homage to iguanas among tropical foliage feeding on flower petals.
