These traditional handmade vessels for liquids, still used by the Maleku, have been created as an arts and crafts objects as well as being a usable accesory. The striking painted surface features local flora and fauna and the names of the displayed local animals in the language Maleku Jaika. A fiber cord allows this piece to really be used as a canteen..
