Chaquira Beaded Collar

These traditional chaquiras, worn by both men and women of the Ngöbe-Buglé (Guaymí) tribe, are so elaborate that they are worthy of framing as a celebrated art object. They are made with glass trade beads and are highly prized by this indigenous group. Framed.
