Jade Coiled Snake Amulet
This unique and authentic pre-columbian Central American jade piece is a coiled snake motif amulet that, in its epoch, would have been the central piece in a glorious necklace (whose wearer was undoubtedly elite).
Worn by Pre-Hispanic nobility of the region, such jade tubes and amulets are all copies of such originals seen in the Costa Rican Jade Museum in the capital of San José. The chosen cut of jade for this pendant is a dark forest green. 2 3/4″ diam.
