A beautifully strung jade necklace (jadeite, pearls and 14K gold balls and spacers) featuring, as the centerpiece, a typical dios hacha (axe-god) which is an elaborate axe blade with a symbolic personnage posed above the blade. In this case, the figure is anthropomorphic representing either a chieftain, or shaman who were powerful leaders in these pre-Hispanic societies.
