Description
Red-eyed Green Tree Frog
Carved by hand entirely from tagua nut and colored with India ink, this red-eyed green tree frog (and heliconia flower) figurine seems to be alive in a typical pose as found within its tropical forest environment.
Expertly captured by its tribal Wounann carver, in the wild, this frog is a jewel found most often at night among forest fronds and jungle vines. The red-eyed green tree frog is vibrantly coloured and is a veritable emblem of the Central American rainforests.
